À propos des auteurs

Annie spent most of her childhood with a leg draped over the family rocking chair and a book in her hand. Novels, baking and writing too much teenage angst poetry ate up most of her youth. Now, Annie splits her time between corralling her husband into helping her with their cows, listening to audio books whilst weeding and spending some very happy hours at her computer writing. Cursed with a poor sense of direction and a propensity to read, Annie Claydon spent much of her childhood lost in books.
A degree in English Literature followed by a career in computing didn't lead directly to her perfect job-writing romance for Mills & Boon-but she has no regrets in taking the scenic route. She lives in London: a city where getting lost can be a joy. Kate Hardy has been a bookworm since she was a toddler. When she isn't writing Kate enjoys reading, theatre, live music, ballet and the gym. She lives with her husband, student children and their spaniel in Norwich, England.
You can contact her via her website: www.katehardy.com Cara Colter shares ten acres in British Columbia with her real life hero Rob, ten horses, a dog and a cat. She has three grown children and a grandson. Cara is a recipient of the Career Acheivement Award in the Love and Laughter category from Romantic Times BOOKreviews. Cara invites you to visit her on Facebook! Hailed by readers and booksellers alike as one of today's most popular African-American authors of women's fiction, Ms.
Alers is a regular on bestsellers list, and has been a recipient of numerous awards, including the Vivian Stephens Award for Excellence in Romance Writing and a Zora Neale Hurston Literary Award. Visit her Web site www.rochellealers.com Susan Carlisle's love affair with books began when she made a bad grade in math. Not allowed to watch TV until the grade had improved, she filled her time with books.
Turning her love of reading into a love for writing romance, she pens hot medicals. She loves castles, traveling, afternoon tea, reads voraciously and hearing from her readers. Join her newsletter at www. SusanCarlisle.com Amalie lives with her family and critters in Southern Ohio, and she writes quirky, independent characters for Harlequin Medical Romance. Her favorite stories buck expectations with unusual settings and situations, and the belief that humor can powerfully illuminate truth-especially when juxtaposed against intense emotions.
And that love is stronger and more satisfying when your partner can make you laugh through the times you don't have the luxury of tears. Marguerite Kaye has written over fifty historical romances featuring feisty heroines and a strong sense of place and time. She is also co-author with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, of the Sunday Times bestseller, Her Heart for a Compass. They are currently working on their second book together.
Marguerite lives in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. When not writing, she loves to read, cook, garden, drink martinis, and sew, though rarely at the same time. When Virginia Heath was a little girl it look her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending.
Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Over twenty books and three Romantic Novel of the Year Award nominations later, it still takes her forever to fall asleep. After completing a degree in journalism, then working in advertising and mothering her kids, Robin Gianna had what she calls her awakening. She decided she wanted to write the romance novels she'd loved since her teens, and now enjoys pushing her characters toward their own happily-ever-afters.
When she's not writing, Robin's life is filled with a happily messy kitchen, a needy garden, a wonderful husband, three great kids, a drooling bulldog and one grouchy Siamese cat. With a background of working in medical laboratories and a love of the romance genre it's no surprise that Sue Mackay writes medical romance stories. She wrote her first story at age eight and hasn't stopped since. She lives in New Zealand's Marlborough Sounds where she indulges her passions for cycling, walking and kayaking.
When she isn't writing she also loves cooking and entertaining guests with sumptuous meals that include locally caught fish. Barbara Wallace can't remember when she wasn't dreaming up love stories in her head, so writing romances for Harlequin is a dream come true. Happily married to her own Prince Charming, she lives in New England with a house full of empty-nest animals. Readers can catch up with Barbara through her newsletter.
