The bedtime story they create follows Chase, the clever talking cat of a cruel king. The king is desperate to capture the last known dragon so he can use it to create a powerful spell and rule forever. No one wants that, especially not the captured dragon. Facing hungry coyotes, armed knights, and a bumbling wizard, Chase needs to rally some unlikely allies to complete this daring rescue of his new dragon friend.
This magical story within a story is purrrfect for independent readers who love a mix of adventure, friendship, and a little bit of bedtime mischief, or it can be a fun read aloud at bedtime or anytime I suppose.
