Lianna is happy in her life as the slave wife of her centaur husband, Proval. Life in the herd is upset when Proval's uncle is killed in battle and Proval suddenly has three newly inherited wives. Lianna has to serve Proval while carrying his offspring and helping him breed his other wives. His newly captured wife, Stupid Girl, is an especial burden on Lianna but she proves she is more than capable of being chief wife in her centaur's harem.
