Olivier Texier was born in 1972. Starting in 1997, over the course of 7 years, he self-published no fewer than 34 books, while working at city hall, not far from Nantes, where he still works today. In 2001, Le Dernier Cri published a selection of his erotic drawings ("69 dessins sales"), but he became famous with his strips "Le Bar" and "Grotesk, " published in the magazine "Psikopat." Then he began to work more with underground publishers, such as Humeurs, Les Rêveurs ("Mal Faits, " 2008), Les Requins Marteaux ("Mary et Jonny, " 2013), and also with mainstream publishers, such as Delcourt ("Croisière Cosmos, " 2008).
Olivier Texier is a member of the International Federation of Wrestling Illustrators with a Moustache, where he is a referee, after winning the title of Grand Champion in 2007. In 2017, he wrote "Captainz" (Le Lombard; Europe Comics in English) along with Yoann.
Originally from Normandy, Yoann first met Eric Omond at art school. He worked with him on "Phil Kaos" in the English magazine "Deadline", then came "Ninie Rezergoude", the famous "Toto l'Ornithorynque" and "La voleuse du Père Fauteuil".
He has also illustrated an issue of "Donjon Monster" (Sfar and Trondheim wrote the story) and taken over as illustrator of "Bob Marone" (in collaboration with Yann and Conrad). In 1997, he founded the studio "La Boite qui fait Beuh" in Angers, then settled in Nantes where it is not always raining.
