Les and Tracy travelled extensively until COVID-19 wrought havoc on their plans. Tracy was more reluctant to hit the road, concerned about the impact of being ill on foreign shores. She monitored the ever-changing virus on Twitter, alternately marvelling and being horrified by its capacity to mutate. From Brisbane, Australia to Cannes then on to Paris, London, Edinburgh, Brussels, Cologne, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Bangkok and finally to the delightful riverside town of Huay Plu, Thailand.
Eschewing, as much as possible, the well trodden path, with a preference for observing everyday life in quiet back waters. Modes of travel include trains, boats and planes along with the occasional tuk-tuk and bicycle.
