Résumé

Can Frog and Snake Be Friends? Inspired by a true storySuspense for Kids with Pictures and Surprise Ending Have you ever met someone and thought that you could never, ever be friends? That is what happened to Frog and Snake. Frogs and snakes cannot be friends. Nope. No way. No how. NEVER going to happen. Except maybe... This fictional kids' book about unusual friends was inspired by true events. Frog and Snake need to find some common ground if they're going to be able to live in the same hole.
Along the way, they learn many things about each other and are surprised at the things they have in common. This fictional suspense for kids picture book has a surprise ending (it was even a surprise to the author!). This is a fun read, but the underlying lesson has real-world application. Taking the time to get to know others, finding common ground, and discovering how those who are different from ourselves are just as amazing and special as we are.
To help kids with direct application of this concept, at the end of the book, several activities were included. Story Review. A few fun facts about the biology of frogs and snakes that we learn in the story. Personal Application. Identify someone they know who is very different from themselves. Biology Curiosity and Learning to Research. More odd animal facts about frogs and snakes to encourage extra research at the library or online.
Please note: This ebook has been especially formatted for eReaders so the images and links for this ebook are slightly modified from the print version to accommodate for scale and settings on ebook devices. The activity tables at the end of the story still appear on the page like the print version, but now also include a link to download and print the tables for the interactive exercises.
