Parleying with an ancient dragon comes with strings attached, and a ruthlessly grim psychological cost, that alters the lives of Veronica and Lachlan. A group of young dragons and riders enters the territory of an ancient dragon uninvited. It sounds like the set up to a fable decrying foolish behavior. Nevertheless, newly appointed chieftains of their dragon colony, Lachlan and his cambion-dragon rider, Veronica, are willing to take that risk, if it means Veronica will learn to harness and control her demonic abilities. Biographie de Fannie Price

In her childhood, Fannie developed a love of writing and creature features. By the mid-90s, she discovered urban fantasy, and it quickly became her favorite genre to read. After noticing the lack of diversity in the female heroines of the genre she'd grown to adore, Fannie decided to use her writing skills to amplify the voices of Black female protagonists and other marginalized people in the genre she loves. While she enjoys creating stories that bring her hometown of Chicago to life, her favorite part of writing is creating vivid and tangible worlds, populated by a dynamic and flawed cast of characters. An avid Assassin's Creed fan girl, when she's not writing, she spends her free time with family, going to the movies, watching football, hockey and Investigation Discovery.
