Three friends, Ethan Blackwell, Mara Whitlock, and Daniel Cross, stumble upon a forgotten cemetery deep in the woods where every headstone stands completely blank, no names, no dates, no epitaphs. They dismiss it as an unfinished burial ground and leave before dark. When they return the next morning, three fresh names have appeared, carved into the stone as if they had always been there. As the group tries to understand what the cemetery wants, they realize the names are not random, and the ground is not finished writing.
