Waking up naked in the ashes of a burned out building wasn't part of Vanya's plan. It isn't every day that Firefighter Gideon Sato finds a naked body while checking the debris of burned warehouse for hot spots. More surprising is that fact the man is alive and mostly unharmed. It doesn't hurt that he's cute too. Vanya Stravinsky is a chef at a Russian bistro. A late night attack leaves him with gaps in his memory and no easy answers to give Gideon.
As the two of them begin a relationship, a web of secrets and threats from the Russian mafia lead to Vanya being investigated by the police. In a tangle of human trafficking and danger, can a firebird clear himself of accusations and rescue the right people? Or will it all go up in flames?
