Résumé
Death comes for us all, but not all of us stay dead. Ranging from humorous to mysterious, Bumpy, the Ghost is a collection of paranormal tall tales that explores the boundary between the living and dead and what happens when those boundaries are crossed. Sure, a ghost has no business in your shower, but maybe talk to it before assuming it's there to kill you. You could build a lasting relationship.
No one wants to die young, die early, or die alone, before they're ready, before their work is done, but sometimes the world works like that. And sometimes the dead decide that's not how the world should work. Sometimes the wronged, the lonely, the destitute have more to say. And they will say it by any means necessary. From ghosts discovering Afterlife and purgatory are not what they were led to believe, to ghosts haunting their Earthly territory, to ghosts starving for attention, these stories show the dead aren't always something to fear.
They just want to indulge in a good natured prank. They have been dead so long they've forgotten who they are. They want to show you what they can't tell you.
