Résumé

Where do you start telling the story of the ending of civilization?  You start at the beginning, or as Bean said, "You start at the start".  All this came from Dad and Mom, who was usually correcting Dad.  Back about forty years ago, when me and Bean weren't even a gleam in Dad's eye maybe before Dad had a gleam, the world was hit with a virus.  Some blamed the Chinese folks.  Most blamed America, of course.  At least if you believed the Media from back then, according to Dad.  According to my dad, if there was a domestic enemy, it was the American News Media and the Democratic party.  They had slipped further to the absurd and the far left, long before all of this, but it led to the straw that broke the country's back.  Actually, it broke the world's back.
