"Boys who burn themselves alive" is a project that I never thought I would ever make. It is a collection of poems that examine and reflect my own life as a queer man with my own trials and struggles. My poetry has always been a personal endeavor that I have kept in my privacy. But after sharing a few poems with my friends they suggested that I should publish them. Mind you, English is my third language and I come from a rather conservative and queerphobic country so practicing my poetry to open-minded folks is not an easy task nor getting it published comes without risks.
So here I am putting my first draft into the world. I am open to criticism but I am also open to connection. Hope my work resonates with you.
