What remains after the hero dies before he can fulfill his duty? His brother is about to find out. Three months after the end of the supposed end of the Diamond Protocol Chris and his family are left in the cold house. With Max, Leon and Archie gone and Leia in a comma there seems to be little hope for any of them. But even without hope there is light. Chris is confronted by Jace and he is asked to help him, he wants to discover how and why Max died.
Chris then gathers a team of his family and they set off to discover the final secrets of the shadow cult. But as they go deeper they find that there were many strings pulling on Max during February but those involved may of been a lot closer to home then once thought.
