However, desires are hard to fulfill, often clashing with harsh reality. It's the year 1960, and Viola and Massimo meet among the hills of Tuscany on a day that will shape their destinies. The air is clear and scented with lavender, much like Viola's fresh and wild skin.
It's love at first sight for both: he, a skilled perfumer, and she, the daughter of an oil producer with dreams of becoming a perfumer herself. Yet life holds bitter futures for them: tragedy scars Viola forever, and Massimo is abruptly separated from that land. Fast forward to 2010, fifty years have passed. Elena, Viola's granddaughter and now a journalist, reviews perfumes featured in top fashion magazines.
One in particular is gaining immense popularity: Blue Passion, a unique fragrance capable of awakening deep passions. It will be this perfume that reveals the destinies of the two protagonists, who have been surprised by unexpected turns of fate.
