Résumé

I'm running through a field of red flowers. My heart is thrashing in my chest, desperate to get away from the monster behind me. I can't breathe. Too bright, the sun blinds me. I begin to panic. How am I going to get away from the beast chasing me if I can't see?I have to keep going. I can't stop. My eyes are glued to the ground, the only thing I can see in this white light. The flowers, covered in the blood of the monster's victims, fade away behind me.
The ground inclines sharply, some patch of grass grips hold of my toes. My knees hit the ground. No. I can hear the monster panting behind me, much closer now. My feet slip on the wet grass, and it takes a lifetime to get them under me. He's coming. I know I'm going to die now. I took too long. And now I can feel his breath on my neck. A cool breeze caresses my shoulders. It forces the clouds to conceal the sun, and through the haze I can see a mansion up ahead.
I feel the thing behind me getting closer, trying to bring me down. I force my legs to propel my body forward. I'm tired, and I'm slowing down against my will. His breathing is so close now. The house begins to slip away, out of my reach."No!" I scream. I try to run faster. But my legs feel like lead; and my body is suddenly heavy. It's like trying to run underwater and I can't do it. This is the end...
