Résumé

Blood and Ashes  is a dark paranormal romance that burns through centuries of hatred to tell the story of two enemies who were never meant to stand on the same side-until the truth forces them together. David Hale is a devoted hunter raised inside the rigid doctrines of the Order of Saint Aurelius, trained to believe vampires are nothing but monsters to be destroyed. Thomas Ashcroft is a centuries-old vampire physician bound by a tragic past and burdened by knowledge of a hidden war built on manipulation, corruption, and lies.
When David is sent to eliminate what he believes is a vampire threat, he instead uncovers Ashcroft Manor-a sanctuary where humans and vampires live in uneasy but genuine peace. There he meets Thomas, a vampire who defies everything he has been taught to hate. What begins as suspicion quickly evolves into reluctant cooperation, and then into something far more dangerous: trust. As hunters and vampires begin to clash across Ravenwood Forest, David and Thomas are forced into an alliance that reveals a shocking truth-both their organizations have been secretly controlled for centuries by powerful leaders profiting from endless war.
The deeper they dig, the more the line between enemy and ally dissolves. Together, they defy both the Hunter Order and the Vampire Conclave, becoming fugitives hunted by the very worlds that raised them. In the shadows of collapsing empires, they gather allies, expose the Crimson Conspiracy, and ignite a revolution that ends the cycle of bloodshed. But the greatest transformation is not political-it is personal.
Between battles, betrayals, and revelations, David and Thomas fall deeply, irrevocably in love. A love forbidden by history, condemned by both species, and powerful enough to rewrite destiny itself. In the end, war collapses under the weight of truth, and a fragile peace is born. At Ashcroft Manor-once a symbol of fear-humans and vampires begin building a new world together. And standing on its restored balcony at sunrise, David and Thomas discover that survival was never the goal.
Belonging was.
