The book of the Revelation of John from the Bible is misunderstood by many to be a book full of monsters and terrible prophecies for the future. This book attempts to show its true character as a book of worship and promise. It does warn of a not so bright future for anyone who won't accept the love God offers, and we must be willing to warn them. Mainly, though; it is a book of praise and worship.
Birth Pangs, Not Death Throes is a conversation on the Revelation given to John by Jesus through the angel. The author explores the picture of Yeshu (Jesus) we are given in the first chapter. The signs are all instruments of worship, so they are all explored in this book. The poetry and cadence of the book are also an impetus for worship, so they are explored as well. The purpose of this book is to bring the reader to a closer and more worshipful fellowship with the Master.
