Biracial Me Love & Pain = Strength

How do you express yourself? My personal choice of expression has always been poetry.  As a child, I held so many things inside. I was afraid to share my feelings with anyone. So I began to write them down, throwing the poems away after they were written. As a teen, I thought that I was the only one in the world feeling the emotions that I felt. I still threw the poems away. Now, as a grown woman, I've learned that writing is a gift.
Not only does it help the writer clear their mind, it also helps those who don't know how to express themselves, put things in perspective. In this book, I welcome you into my life. I invite you to get to know more about me and see the world through my eyes. You will experience good times, bad times, and intimate times. You may laugh, cry  or inhale waiting to see what happens next. In life we all experience love, pain and strength.
Its when those three are put together in an amazing equation, Love & Pain = Strength, that we begin to have a much clearer perspective on life. FInally, I stopped throwing away my poems and they are all collected in this book, Biracial Me, waiting to be shared with you!
