Between Stations

In winter, with no fixed plan and a willingness to keep going, Mai Gonzalez boards a train bound east. Travelling by rail through Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, and China, she moves through frozen cities, vast white landscapes, and the long, liminal hours between borders. Inside train carriages, strangers share food, stories, and silence. Outside, the world shifts-linguistically, culturally, emotionally.
