Résumé

Beaten and Broken contains several stories written by Raven Hollow, as well as one blog that includes the link. Some stories, like "Animal Instincts", are excerpts from projects being written outside of school. Raven's stories typically revolve around a character surviving some hardship, big or small, and working through it until things get better. In "Diary Entry from the Future" from I am Me, and I am Gone, an unnamed protagonist is assigned a therapist, who then gives him the task of writing a digital diary.
It is meant to help him, but instead, it only shows the horrid conditions he lived in when he was transferred to a new home aboard another ship. Set in the far future, it is a sad tale that is based on some truth from current issues. There are also three excerpts from current projects; from Animal Instincts, "Tangled Fur" and "Accident" about a snow leopard anthropomorphic snow leopard getting ready for a mysterious meeting that ends very badly; "Taming Fire" from Pyrates: Burning Ember in a conversation between Kasai, Shock, and Waverider about Kasai's powers and ability to use them against a foe; and "Lost in Mistake" from Transfer, the prologue into a world where you can change your body almost as easily as your clothes.
