After all, the three witches who've taken her in have their own families to worry about. Too bad a talking rat has other plans for her.
The more disagreeable residents of Burberry are being turned into animals, and Lola is the only witch who can understand them. But she doesn't have time for mysteries involving animals or the haunted house from her dreams that's mysteriously shown up on the edge of town.  When one of the animals comes close to being roadkill, Lola realizes she's the only one who can put the clues together and find a way to return the animals to their true, human form.
Even if they aren't the most beloved people in town, they don't deserve to on the receiving end of a curse. Can she solve this mystery before she becomes the next talking animal?
