Awakening of Sybil

As a young woman turn of the century in England (early 1900) with little family and no standing, Sybil knows she has few options. Sybil decides, rather than marry; she will go to America and reinvent her circumstances. Excited to go, she takes her father's steamer chest and follows in his footsteps of exploration. She quickly finds the world is not as civilized as her sheltered English upbringing taught her.
Her eyes open to a colorful world of lust and intrigue. Filled with people of all tastes and morality. Coming to America is an adventure that ends up staying with her for a lifetime.
