Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei Kolnais Sicht auf den Nationalsozialismus als existenzielle Bedrohung der westlichen Gesellschaft und ihres Wertesystems, gegenüber der er die vom Bolschewismus ausgehende Gefahr für die bürgerliche Gesellschaft vernachlässigte.
Neben Rassenideologie, Antisemitismus und Religion bilden Kolnais politische Philosophie und seine Moralphilosophie als theoretischer Kontext seiner Nazismusanalyse einen besonderen Schwerpunkt. This book discusses the position of Aurel Kolnai's book "Der Krieg gegen den Westen" (The War against the West) in the context of contemporary debates on Nazism.
