Résumé

Astrocliimatology is my new hypothesis for how the earth's climate system operates. It involves the ways that levels of galactic cosmic rays entering the earth's atmosphere, which have effects on weather and climate, are modulated by our current location in our Milky Way galaxy, and the earth's and sun's magnetic fields, which are modulated by gravitational interactions of other bodies in our solar system, to produce climate cycles on all time scales.
I discuss the interrelationships of those effects, with reference to improving the understanding and forecasting of weather and climatic change on all time scales. My primary goal is to increase the accuracy of forecasting of future weather and climate to help prevent the great loss, displacement and degradation of lives projected to occur in the future, as they have in the past, due to unforeseen weather events and climate changes.
This is also used to explain the role of climate in the rise, flourish and fall of past human civilizations and promote the understanding of the full spectrum of mysteries of anthropology and human history. Human effects on climate, like those related to our current global warming crisis, are also discussed in this context. Using the theoretical approach and primarily concentrating on relating the big picture to my readers has enabled me to tell this amazing story in a way that provides the reader with a context in which major causes and effects can be visualized as an interrelated whole.
This enables the reader to best assimilate the importance of this work in increasing our understanding of the climate system, appreciate its beauty and symmetry, and gain the fulfillment of fully understanding the major aspects of one of the most complex scientific subjects and using it to now view world history three dimensionally.
