Ashes of a Broken God

Seven hundred years ago, the gods vanished and the world froze. In the age since their disappearance, humanity has survived by blame and belief. Cities cling to life beneath endless winter. Guided by a forbidden book and a map to the long-abandoned Old World, he begins a journey across fractured lands where the scars of ancient war still tear open the earth. Along the way, Kai is joined by Isera, a survivor who has lost everything to the gods and trusts nothing touched by them.
As starving divinities stir, human factions clash, and the past begins to surface in broken fragments, Kai is drawn toward a truth buried so deeply it threatens to unmake everything the world believes about itself.
