Résumé

Artsana: 35 Sacred Yoga Poses Expressed Through Art is a visual and poetic exploration of sacred yoga asanas. Each pose is lovingly and meticulously portrayed in art, inspired by visions from the deepest depths of David L. Laing's wild imagination. The writing that accompanies each drawing can be considered akin to Yogic Koans (Yoans?), and serves to provide a poetic expression of the intention and consciousness of each pose. The purpose of this book is to inspire yogis and yoginis of all levels to view the sacred asanas in a new light, from a perspective of creativity, imagination, and exploration.
Each drawing and accompanying "Yoan" is playful and powerful, imaginative and evocative, mystical and mysterious
