Résumé

Take a break and relax with something that will entertain and intrigue the developing mind. Arthur's War on Woke book 1 The Climate HoaxThe legend of Arthur has been told many times in various forms, but never quite like this, which I trust will bring a smile to the faces of the reader and the child, who will hopefully drift into a peaceful slumber before you, the reader does. I have avoided lots of action and tension whilst trying to keep the subject matter entertaining, especially in this spin off from the main book titled Arthur Past & Future, that has illustrations for younger children to begin their early voyages of discovery.
When Arthur learns from Merlin about the strange antics of the earlier civilisation, he has dreams, and these dreams form the basis of these separate, fairy tale style adventures, like Alice in Wonderland, where the three of them, Arthur, with Malosi & Maayan, his lifelong friends, face the evil of the system, acting on behalf of their new family of animals who live in the jungle, led by the fierce matriarch, Cat.
Similar to the Mad Hatters Tea Party. Things are exaggerated but have their basis in truth, and with illustrations, should prove entertaining for all. In War on Woke book 1, Arthur has a task given by the animals in the jungle to prevent the bipeds (humans) destroying the land in a half baked attempt at controlling nature. The villains are caricatures portraying a slight exaggeration of characters in our 'real' world, whose antics are preposterous yet mostly based upon fact, propelling common sense and reality into a virtual world where perception and fantasy blend in abstract harmony: but we must all apply our own interpretation & enjoy the tale, for learning should be fun.
