With creativity running through his veins - his mother was a respected artist who inspired him from a young age - David has spent his life expressing himself through music, art, and creative writing. In addition to his music career, David built a successful career in the construction trades, specializing in high-quality finishing work including painting, tile, stone, siding, and more.
That same hands-on discipline and attention to detail carries over into his creative projects. Animal Instinct is a deeply personal work born from David's passion for music and storytelling. He is proud to collaborate on this and future books with his daughter, Raven, who contributes her own artwork and works side-by-side with her father on editing and creative development. Both are big friends of critters, and Dave will go out of his way to help them.
