It is difficult to determine the exact time periods of AncientGreece. The time hardly seems to carry any information ashistorians were few. Other than Herodotus, Xenophon andThucydides there were hardly any historians who jotted downthe happenings. Archaeological excavations where temples andbuildings were discovered form the source of informationmostly. Pottery, sculptures, artefacts etc. also give muchinformation.
There are different time periods into which ancientGreece has been distributed. It begins from the Neolithic Periodand ends in Hellenistic Period.
