Ezekiel lived among Israelite exiles by the river Chebar. He saw the glory of the Lord, and he was transported to Jerusalem in a vision. Here the Lord showed him the sins that the prominent Israelites were committing. The Lord also moved Ezekiel to utter wonderful Messianic prophecies. The book is rich in spiritual symbolism.
