Résumé

An Alien Presence - Upon the arrival of an advanced alien civilization, Earth teeters on the brink of chaos. As war erupts in the skies and on the ground, and diplomacy hangs by a thread. Major Myles Webb, an American Federated States Marines, finds himself ensnared in an unprecedented role: the only human granted full access to the enigmatic Hee'Umana. Appointed as Earth's Ambassador and a Sub-Commander, Webb must navigate the treacherous waters of human conflict while earning the trust of his alien counterparts.
As tensions flare and old animosities resurface, should he choose loyalty to his planet or the promise of interstellar alliance? Yet, mighty as they are, the Hee'Umana harbor a secret of a lurking threat from the unknown-something that even their formidable civilization has engaged in battle. Webb must uncover the truth of this ominous force while balancing his duties as a newfound Sub-Commander in an alien military. Will Major Webb bridge the chasm between Humans and Hee'Umana, or will Earth's own conflict shatter their fragile alliance?
