Cora did not please her employer because she was a novice and didn't know what was expected of her. She is given to Francis Wentworth and becomes her chamber maid. Francis has had many maids over the years. Some didn't last very long because she was extremely demanding. Cora will learn how to take care of her bedroom, her clothes, and her desires. Francis doesn't mind training in a new maid, especially when they are virgin.
