Résumé

All that Illyon Corvis wants is to get drunk. The problem? Tonight, ale gets him a direct line to the gods. And they haven't talked to anyone in a very long time.A caravaneer's life is dull, exhausting, and everything that Ily has. Now, he's about to lose it thanks to a mysterious stranger in the tavern. Chased by the Knights of Iron, forced to learn magic, and haunted by his past, Ily has no idea that the worst is yet to come.
He has to break into the inner sanctum of the Temple of Iron, and that is humanly impossible. Unfortunately for Ily, there's an actual goddess walking the physical world, and she's standing right next to him. Would he rise up to the challenge, or would the compulsions of the gods drive him crazy first?
I've always wanted to do magic. I guess these words define the generation that grew up with the Harry Potter books. It was so cool, so different, thrilling and sometimes dangerous. I've always pushed at the boundaries of reality, trying to break out into the uncharted void beyond, where magic, dwarves, halflings, dragons, and all things out of this mundane place lived. I created ways to change the world.
I wrote stories, organized pen-and-paper role-playing sessions for the kids in our neighborhood, I made up board games. I have a brain made for analytical thinking, so it was natural I'd pick up programming in school. I've spent endless hours developing my own computer worlds filled with fairies, trolls, kraken; everything I could fit inside. Now, my worlds are yours!
