That is, until Cyril, his kindhearted bus driver, takes Alan under his wing. While Alan struggles with a budding crush on his classmate Julie and bullies who seem determined to make his life miserable, Cyril guides him through life lessons using myths-a topic they both love.
The more Alan discovers from the stories, the more confidence he gains. With each bus route traveled and page turned, Alan has a chance to embrace his own courage. Will he take it?
