Against the Tide

Maggie Greene has a tarnished reputation at Grace Community Church. If not for the loyalty of her few friends, Maggie would not have the courage to come back week after week. Church gossips, Sylvia Canon and her friends, have done their best to try to alienate Maggie. When the new Associate Pastor, Tyler Hawkins, befriends Maggie, Sylvia has a new target. It doesn't help that Pastor Lawrence hired Tyler to stir things up at Grace Community and bring it into the 21st century, potentially changing the church culture.
As Maggie and Tyler grow closer, Sylvia and her friends push against them and feel threatened by the changes that Tyler wants to bring to Grace Community Church. Maggie and Tyler are going to need a lot of kindness and grace to convince Sylvia that they want the best for Grace Community and its parishioners. And they just may change a few lives along the way including their own.
