Résumé
Abiding and Bartering (money or relationships? ) in many world wide Bible centric modern Christian subcultures. Abiding and Bartering addresses a foundational theological question at the heart of Christian faith: What does anyone realize about "the abiding in Christ?" Is is only about believing God for success? Position and Power..or Do Gooding, Making it Big? And does genuine authority in spiritual life flow out from abiding relationship with Christ, or has it been reshaped into a system of transaction and exchange?Drawing from Scripture, biblical language, and theological reflection, this book clarifies the meaning of abiding as presented in both ordinary English usage and the biblical witness.
Special attention is given to Jesus' teaching in John 15, where abiding is revealed as living union rather than conditional performance. Fruit, obedience, endurance, and authority are examined as outcomes of relationship, not as currency for belonging. Using the framework of Abiding Relationship Theology (A. R. T.), the book contrasts relational faith with transactional patterns that subtly redefine obedience as payment, submission as leverage, fruit as proof of worth, and endurance as a condition for acceptance.
While such patterns often retain biblical language, they alter the order of Christian formation and distort the nature of discipleship. Abiding and Bartering does not reject obedience, leadership, or spiritual discipline. Instead, it restores their proper source in abiding union with Christ. Relationship precedes obedience. Belonging precedes behavior. Authority exists to serve formation, not to replace communion with Christ.
Written in a measured, theological tone, this book is intended for pastors, ministry leaders, theologians, and serious readers seeking a biblically grounded understanding of relational faith. It offers a careful re-centering of Christian life and leadership on abiding rather than exchange.
