The ability remains God's, the authority belongs to Christ, and the power comes from the Holy Spirit-yet human response is real. Grace does not produce spectators. It forms disciples. Rather than reducing the great sayings of Jesus through fear or turning them into formulas, this book places them within relationship with the Father, the lordship of Christ, the guidance of Scripture, and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
