Résumé

In the year 1240, Sven, a Viking warrior, and his girlfriend Chemig arrive in the city of a powerful Mongol tribal chief. In that tribe, Chimeg's mother, High Priestess of the cult called Black Tengrism, has disappeared, kidnapped by the followers of a warlord named Bataar Khan, who is reuniting the tribes to conquer the entire Central Asian steppe, following in the footsteps of Genghis Khan. The protagonists manage to free the High Priestess, and through her revelations, they find out about the real intentions of Bataar Khan, and they decide to travel to Samarkand to warn the authorities of the powerful city of those intentions and the danger they represent.
The Nizaris, hashish-drinking hitmen who follow the mysterious Old Man of the Mountain, play a role in this story. This historical thriller will keep you in suspense until the very end.
