My summer vacation had always been the highlight of my year. And what made it even better was that my girlfriend would be on my side. But then, our relationship went sour fast, and I went on that trip alone. To clear my head, to finally get over my ex. It was on the train ride towards my first destination that an attractive older woman placed herself next to me. After the ice broke, we had an engaging conversation, we even left the railroad station together. Then our ways parted, but I struggled to get her out of my head.
So when I ran into her inside a museum on the following day, I took the chance and we ended up together. At least for the remainder of that day, and then for the rest of our trip. But it took me a long time to figure out who that mysterious woman actually was, and why she had been on the same train like me to begin with.
