A Time to Die

F. Scott Fitzgerald is quoted as saying, "There are no second acts in America." Janika Ann Konnor, called "Jake" by anyone who knows her, takes that quote as a personal challengeJake is a recently transplanted Northerner and newly minted private detective who hangs out her shingle in a small Southern town and finds out the hard way that Southern revenge is a dish best served cold. She is hired to conduct a simple infidelity investigation but soon finds herself caught up in a killer's quest for vengeance.
