A Thorny Past

"Crow" Hollander left behind a past full of thorns...or so she thought. After getting out of jail, she was assured that the opportunity for a new life lay before her. But each night, in her tiny apartment, the longed-for freedom feels more like house arrest in which she only finds loneliness and closed doors. Nobody wants to hire an ex-con. And everything becomes much more confusing when her signature black rose appears next to a corpse.
She immediately becomes the prime suspect in a crime she didn't commit and will be forced to get into the twisted mind of a dangerous serial killer to prove her innocence.
