Young, attractive and ambitious Jack Andrews is the new doctor at Mercy Hall Hospital, owned by Max Winters, a powerful man with tremendous influence in the town of Mercy. Jack has no idea what awaits him in the humble town, but he gets his first glimpse of a possible future when Faith Winters, the beautiful daughter of his boss asks for his help. For years Faith has felt suffocated under the condescending eye of her father.
She is tired of the obligatory life and desperate to escape her father's grasp once and for all. But in a town that worships the ground her father walks on, she doesn't have anyone she can trust.
