A Stone of Stumbling

In this novel, a man named William in England fled persecution by going to another country. In Geneva he put together a fresh translation of the Bible into English. Of the many books that make up that Bible, the book that was printed first was Luke's gospel, and it was introduced into British society as soon as possible. When England started reading that Good News, it revolutionized the culture on every level.
This is the story of how important it is for a nation to be presented with a fresh reading of the Scriptures, but it is also a warning to those who despise the Word of God and the consequences of doing so.
