Calandra is a high ranking princess, daughter of The General, and has lived a life of privilege and indulgence at the hands of her generous father who rules The Republic, which governs most of the galaxy. That is, until the peace envoy she is travelling with is attacked and Calandra is critically injured by the invaders. Captured by them, she finds herself not only their prisoner, but their experiment too.
