Since her grandmother died, Julia has been trying to raise her teenage brother alone.  She knows she's floundering and definitely needs some help.  She seeks guidance from her great-uncle, a small-town minister.  Julia knows she can count on her uncle.  What she doesn't count on is her brother's new history teacher who seems to know just how to irritate both Julia and her brother, albeit in very different ways.
