After the McHubbard family courageously escaped the clutches of the Time Belt, the evil force behind its construction stole something rather valuable from them in return: their sister Elbina. With barely any leads on her location except for the fact that she was whisked to a planet in a different universe, the siblings were left perplexed and helpless. In the penultimate book of The Jalopy Chronicles, Riff, Ann Lou, and Luna lead the effort to find their sister.
The story takes them first on a journey to aid in the development of the first multi-universal Jalopy, then follows them as they use this Jalopy to search for Elbina. On Earth's parallel planet Thera, they meet a cohort of fun-loving and dastardly characters. What the McHubbards discover is a world not unlike their own, but with its own personalised twist. Problems start to escalate out of proportion when aspects of Earth and Thera collide... The Jalopy Chronicles: A Parallel World presents even more zany and outrageous adventures across multiple universes.
Follow the McHubbards as they encounter black holes, supernovas, and peevish planetary border control agents; navigate the whirlwind of love; and, above all, fly in innovative and particularly junky Jalopies.
