Before writing Regency romances, Victoria wrote articles and short stories, many of which were published in magazines and online forums. Writing mostly romantic historical novels, and because an editor once told her she was too English to write a western, she also writes contemporary western romance.

I loved those books, and reading Ms. Chatham's A Murder in the Meadows with the wonderful interplay between the sisters and DI Anthony Wallace and his new protégé DS Rachel Evans was just such a treat. This is a book that any fan of really good British mysteries is absolutely going to want to add to their library. Wonderful read. Thank you Victoria Chatham.
