Résumé

When you accidentally slap your ex-wife's ass thinking it's her twin sister, Thanksgiving is already off to an interesting start. Adam's been dodging Suzy's calls ever since she discovered someone anonymously paid for her car repairs. He knows she knows it was him. He doesn't want to talk about it. His plan: avoid her entirely by escaping to FriendsGiving at the game store. But Thanksgiving has other plans.
Harley's mother arrives unexpectedly from Asia. Adam's toxic ex-father-in-law Stanley shows up with retrograde opinions about everything. Eighteen-month-old Noah becomes Adam's unexpected ally during debates about whether LGBTQ+ people "contribute to society." And Adam realizes something playing Uno on the floor while Stanley pontificates: maybe Jesus was telling him to pay attention. Neighborly Gestures: A Moment of Truth is the fifth book in a series that proves character growth is possible, emotional complexity enriches erotica, family drama makes everything more intense, and crossing final boundaries feels significant when you've earned the journey there.
When Adam and Shannon finally come together-literally-it's the culmination of five books of tension, negotiation, and trust-building. It's raw, it's intense, and it's exactly what Shasha's been craving. Content: Explicit sexual content (penetrative sex finally), family drama, confrontation of bigotry, ex-wife discovery, hidden generosity revealed, toxic father-in-law confrontation, Thanksgiving chaos, mature characters navigating complex emotions, enthusiastic participation from all involved.
All characters are consenting adults. Perfect for readers who love: Character growth that feels earned, ex-relationship resolution that respects everyone, standing up to bigotry, family drama that's universally relatable, series climaxes that deliver, emotional complexity in erotica, Thanksgiving chaos, hidden generosity reveals, toddlers who steal scenes, and crossing final boundaries with trust and enthusiasm.
Leto Armitage is a former fry cook, strip club bouncer and librarian who decided to start writing because he was really curious what it would be like and ended up loving it. He is still recovering from having a literature degree but despite that handicap managed to become a functional member of society. His children are helping him prevent a chronic onset on adulthood. He enjoys writing for perverts who are also hopeless romantics.
He has an affection for flawed characters and happy endings and cries during sad movies. Most of Armitage's writing is done on his deck surrounded by cats and dogs underneath his fig tree while the fascist squirrels throw things at him. His writing has been praised for his dialogue and sense hyper-reality and humor.
