Only to find he has placed himself directly in their firing line when he encounters an Indian mother and her stepdaughter among his fellow passengers. A beauteous and assertive mother and a stepdaughter who, though falling a long way from the description of "beautiful", is at least the mother's equal when it comes to evil. Evil, with the stepmother's assistance, that is about to be unleashed upon him. Believable female-led fantasy fiction for the reader who enjoys the exercise of the imagination.
