Lina and Alicia were in love. It wasn't rare for a married couple to feel that about one another, but as witches, they felt more intensely about one another than most men and women did about their partners. They felt too deeply, which was a bit of a problem when they wished for a child. Most witches that married one another usually found a lover to impregnate one of them when the time for children came, but neither wanted the other to be with someone else.
It fell to Lina to conceive a potion that would allow for impregnation to occur between them. It was a bit harder to succeed than she had hoped, but she eventually got it. All that was left was to enjoy the benefits of her new potion and put a child on her wife's belly.
